When will I receive my order?
We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. We use Standard Australia Post to ship your wine, Australia Post delivery times are as follows :
- NSW & ACT Sydney Metro 5-6 days, NSW Regional 7-8 days, Canberra 6-8 days.
- VIC Melbourne Metro 4-6 days, VIC Regional 6-8 days.
- SA Adelaide Metro 4-6 days, SA Regional 6-8 days.
- QLD Brisbane Metro 6-8 days, QLD Regional 8-10 days, QLD Remote (Far North) 12-16 days.
- WA Perth Metro 8-10 days, WA Regional 8-11 days, WA Remote 12-16 days.
- NT Darwin Metro 8-10 days, NT Remote 14-15.
- TAS Tasmania Metro 6-8 days, TAS Remote 14-18.
Is my delivery postcode within a metro delivery area?
Most Australian postcodes will be included within the Metro Delivery Area. A small number of postcodes are excluded from the Metro Delivery Area and will attract an Australian Post standard delivery fee.
Freight charges are calculated at checkout and will vary based on the delivery location. Postcodes that will attract an Australian Post standard delivery fee include:
NT 0803-0803, 0822-0827, 0852-0852, 0854-0859, 0862-0869, 0872-0872, 0880-0905
QLD 4806 to 4899, 9960 to 9999
WA 6700 to 6799 NF 2898-2899
Aust Antarctic Territory 7151-7154
Do you ship to all Australian locations?
We deliver almost everywhere in Australia, however there are some places that our network doesn't extend to. We're unable to deliver to any area that is classified by the Australian Government as a dry zone; or Australian Islands that are classified as residing in International Waters.
Do you ship internationally?
We're sorry, but we do not ship internationally for orders placed online. Please contact our customer care team on 1800 531 964 for more details on overseas freight.
What is the cost of shipping?
For metro postcodes we charge $15 shipping. For none metro areas freight charges are calculated at checkout and will vary based on the delivery location.
Who will be delivering my wine?
Unless otherwise specified, your delivery will be sent via Australia Post.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you should receive an email from Australia Post with your tracking number. Please visit https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/ to view your order status.
Can I request a specific delivery time?
Our Australia Post service does not provide date or time specific deliveries. If you have not requested Safe Drop, Australia Post will leave a calling card so you can collect your order from the local Post Office.
How do I change my delivery address?
If you notice that your address is incorrect after receiving your shipping confirmation, you can redirect your parcel via https://auspost.com.au/mypost
Requests for redirection are at the sole discretion of Australia Post. Please visit https://auspost.com.au/mypost to view eligibility criteria.
How do I know if my order has been delivered?
Our shipping carriers will provide you with an email and/or SMS tracking updates. You can also track your package directly via the Australia Post website.
Not all of my wine has arrived, where is the rest of my delivery?

I received something different to what I ordered, what do I do?

My item is damaged, what do I do?
We're terribly sorry if you've received a damaged item. Please contact us on 1800 531 964 or email hello@silkywines.com.au so that we can remedy the situation.
To assist us with resolving this quickly, please provide a few images showing the defect/damage with your initial inquiry.
